About
A few of the Berner dogs in my life.
My dogs and I compete in obedience, rally, drafting, and freestyle. My activities and my dogs are varied and rewarding, many games make fun times. We all enjoy experimenting with the different events and education.

Philosophy and Joys:
Teamwork. I believe that education is teamwork. I have had the opportunity to teach in corporate and community settings, and in private and public schools. No matter the setting, teamwork makes a difference. It takes cooperation between a teacher and a student. Sometimes your teammate is a dog. I have learned from so many gifted people and teams
The essence and importance of teamwork became a focus when I was a cheer coach in Show Low, Arizona. We (students, parents, and assistant coaches) created a program that was as gratifying as it was successful. I saw a video describing mental management and goal setting. The truths in it set my motivation on fire. I studied the principles and taught them to the athletes. An atmosphere of cooperation challenged the students’ athletic abilities, yet fostered a strong work ethic and joy of performance. In 2004 our cheer team won a state title for the first time in school history. Our squad included the first cheerleader from Show Low to be named Cheer Athlete of the Year for 1-3 A schools.
The concepts of cooperation, challenges and goal completion are still guiding forces in my life and training program. I love to see students set goals and bring challenges to completion. I being able to share the wisdom and lessons from my years with brilliant dogs. My relationship with my dogs has been my motivator and reward. That is a joy.
